Mark it on your calendar – the 34th Annual Holiday Spirit of San Pedro Parade is this weekend. The festivities begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, with a parade of more than 70 units and floats starting at Pacific Avenue and 13th Street. Thousands are expected to attend what has become one of the most beloved traditions of our waterfront district.
If you have family or friends coming into town for the holidays or if you have kids about to go on winter break soon, the Port of Los Angeles has a number of entertaining options for you. Every weekend between December 6 and December 21, there is something fun to do along the waterfront for visitors of all ages.
For the past 14 years, Point Fermin Park has been home to one of the South Bay’s longest running classic car shows, known affectionately as the Car Show by the Sea.
