For the period of Feb. 11 through Feb. 17, the Harbor Division reported that arrests were made in the following categories: 15 for petty theft, 8 for miscellaneous unspecified violations, seven for shoplifting, five for aggravated assault, four for robbery, three for theft from person, two for assault with a deadly weapon, two for grand theft, one for aggravated domestic violence, one for attempted robbery and one for shots fired in an inhabited dwelling.

Bike Thefts on the Rise in L.A. County

Bike thefts are on the rise in Los Angeles County, and the Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in halting this recent rise in crime.

Last week, the Los Angeles Police Department issued a ‘Community Alert’ to warn residents of the recent increase in bicycle thefts throughout Los Angeles County, there were no specific statistics in the release.
