Florentijn Hofman, the artist, provided the designs of his rubber duck for event organizers to build their own for the Tall Ship Festival, which was always the original plan.

Photography Exhibit Draws Out-of-Towners for First Thursday

Last night at First Thursday, South Bay photographer, Allan Stansbury, showcased his landscape photos in the exhibition titled “In the Eye of the Beholder.”

Rigging Inspectors Unroll 83-year-old Warner Grand Theatre Fire Curtain

Designed to prevent the spread of a potential fire from the stage to the theatre, the curtain features the initials WB (for Warner Brothers) framed in a floral, leafy, art deco design. The curtain has been tucked away for years rolled up above the stage’s proscenium.
