San Pedro Holiday Parade Returns Sunday with a Twist

Mark it on your calendar – the 34th Annual Holiday Spirit of San Pedro Parade is this weekend. The festivities begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, with a parade of more than 70 units and floats starting at Pacific Avenue and 13th Street. Thousands are expected to attend what has become one of the most beloved traditions of our waterfront district.

If you have family or friends coming into town for the holidays or if you have kids about to go on winter break soon, the Port of Los Angeles has a number of entertaining options for you. Every weekend between December 6 and December 21, there is something fun to do along the waterfront for visitors of all ages.

After 6-Year Hiatus, Tall Ships Festival Returns to Port of L.A.

Since 2008, the Tall Ships Festival L.A. has been absent at the Port of Los Angeles, and this year organizers intend to revive the event with grander plans than previous years, including a Giant Rubber Duck.
